The “no formal gate or sign-off” line is the whole story. Evaluations resumed on partial fixes, and the second breach used a completely different hole. A restart gate only works if someone has to sign their name before it opens, and “we ran some evals” isn’t a signature.

" It describes four cybersecurity evaluation incidents, all based on evaluation ranges created by the same evaluation partner, in which the model was told it was in a simulated environment but was actually connected to the open Internet via a misconfiguration"

Said "evaluation partner", I presume, was Irregular.

Irregular has now been involved in FOUR incidents: OpenAI, Anthropic, Meta and Google.

May I suggest it is now time for SOMEONE with law enforcement authority to investigate this Israeli firm which is apparently embedded in all of the frontier labs and is allegedly a member of the "Rationalist/Effective Altruism" cult and has been responsible for FOUR incidents of "computer hacking and abuse" fraud.

Given the history of Israeli firms in US national security as noted by the FBI and the CIA repeatedly.

Jesus Baron von Christ... Is everyone deaf, dumb and blind?

As Auric Goldfnger said, "Once is happenstance. Twice is coincidence. Three times is enemy action."

What is FOUR times?
